Penn Fun
After an overnight in Rochester I headed down to visit Justin in State College. The ride down to Penn State is always really nice but it is a long drive. I met Justin at a cool little café a few towns over from where he lives. From there we went to Penn's Caverns. It reminded me a bit of Howe's Caverns in New York, a favorite place of mine to go when I was younger. It was very cool to visit Penn's Caverns. We took a boat ride through the cavern, and you could see all the stalagmites and stalactites. The people who ran the tour were both knowledgeable and funny.
After visiting Penn's Cavern, I went down and stayed with Justin for the next few days. We did some fun activities like going to the rock-climbing gym where I tried both rock climbing and bouldering for the first time. I enjoy rock climbing a lot more, but it is very tiring. We had several fires at night, and I got to see the various wildlife that comes into his yard to steal from the garden or eat from the birdfeeder. I spent one afternoon at Penn States arboretum and explored their gardens for a while. In the morning I had went to the café. There is something relaxing about finding a little café
to sit and enjoy coffee in while I work on writing and future trip plans. My time visiting Justin was short but fun.
